This Privacy Policy describes how BC Solutions ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Cards 500 mobile application and website at cards-500.com.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Name (display name)
  • Email address
  • User ID (automatically generated)

We do not collect:

  • Location data
  • Device identifiers for advertising
  • Crash reports or diagnostics
  • Contacts, photos, or other device data

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely for:

  • Account creation and authentication
  • App functionality (collection tracking, watchlists, price alerts)
  • Account management and customer support
  • Password reset via 6-digit email code (sent through Resend)

3. User-Generated Data

When you use Cards 500, you may create:

  • Watchlist entries
  • Collection entries (including purchase prices and valuations)
  • Price alerts and target prices
  • Search queries

This data is stored in our database to provide app functionality. We never sell, share, or provide your data to third parties.

4. Advertising and Third-Party Sharing

Cards 500 contains no advertising. We do not share your data with any third-party advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway cloud infrastructure. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. Authentication uses JWT tokens with automatic rotation.

6. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by visiting cards-500.com/delete-account. Upon request, we will permanently delete your account, collection data, watchlist entries, price alerts, and all other personal data within 48 hours.

7. Future: Payment Processing

Cards 500 Pro subscriptions will be processed through Stripe. When this feature launches, Stripe will handle all payment data directly. We will not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy will govern payment data processing.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Cards 500 after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
